Client Onboarding Specialist


About You

You are looking for a full-time remote position working during the US Eastern time zone and are excited about working with a high growth global team to enthusiastically manage the onboarding of new clients. 

Working closely with the Client Success team, you will be responsible for building trust and growing the client relationship during the initial 90-day onboarding of new clients.   A communications pro, you’re passionate about helping customers, and excel at communicating via video meetings, phone, and email.  You are comfortable leading calls, initiating client outreach, and collaborating with the team to provide a successful onboarding experience.


  • Act as the central point of contact for onboarding clients during their first 90 days of working with ScaledOn. 
  • Facilitate the hand-off from sales to onboarding.
  • Ensure clients receive superior service throughout onboarding.
  • Establish strong relationships with new client stakeholders.
  • Educate clients on ScaledOn’s capabilities and processes to simplify adoption and align expectations.
  • Record client needs, requests, and questions in Asana/Slack and communicate to key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and operational teams to help keep projects on track.
  • Listen carefully, with patience and empathy, to information provided by clients and ask clarifying questions to build a deep understanding of clients’ business objectives to position ScaledOn for post-onboarding success.
  • Create or update repeatable processes, resources, and frameworks to use for onboarding clients.
  • Successfully transfer your customer relationships to a Client Success Specialist at the conclusion of 90-day onboarding.

Mandatory Skills

  • 3+ years of experience is a customer-facing role where a key element was written and verbal communications
  • Exemplary written and verbal communications skills in English are a MUST
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to understand a detailed objective and disseminate it into manageable action items/expectations
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly when necessary
  • Experience with digital marketing preferred but not required

Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience. This is an independent contractor position. 

Our process involves completing several assessments, as well as completing a multi-week paid trial period to see how we work together.
